Ch 14: The Ending

Ch 14: The Ending

A Chapter by Liz-z

Jamie

She dared stopping by my house again? "Hey Jamie!" She said cheerfully. "You haven't called me back!" No guilt or regret in her expression? Was she mad? There was obviously some kind of guilt before, so where was it now? She smiled and walked in without letting me say anything. Maybe Sara was just good at hiding her guilt. "When are you coming back? I've missed you so much!" She said reaching for a hug making me move aside and dodge her hug.
"So, did anything happen, while I was gone?" I said giving her a change. For some reason I still had hope she'd tell the truth.
"Yeah," Thank god, she was going to admit. "Damian's been asking for you. Can't you believe it, Dami? I think he likes you, maybe you should watch out for him." She smiled, this was a joke right? My temper was going to be gone very soon.
"Damian isn't the only one I have to look out for," I said biting my lower lip.
Her smiled started to fade, "What's that suppose to mean?" Sara said fiddling with hands.
"Sara, I know what happened, give it up. And for you to come here, not tell me, act like everything's okay, just doesn't cut." I shook my head before continuing, "You're supposed to be my friend”
"It didn't mean anything," she said defensively.
"To Aaron," She couldn't even look me in the eyes anymore. "What happened to Ryan?"
"What about him" I rolled my eyes in disbelieve.
"You liked him, what happened to him?" She didn't answer until before she turned the door knob, "Jamie, she said opening it, "he's not going to be what you have." she whispered before completely exiting and closing the door. And there it was that sorrow I was looking for...

Aaron

"I don't think I'm as mad, just feeling sort of sorry, I guess," Jamie said through the other line. "And I don't want to throw away our friendship either."
"Then don't," I said while also writing out a resume for the summer along with applying for a scholarship.
"But how could I trust her... with you?" she groaned.

"By trusting me. I'll keep my distance as much as possible. I like you, not her." I said confident.
"You're right, I can trust you. Ugh I'm so not ready for school tomorrow," she sighed, "I better go; need to hand in four essays along with study for my three test I have to take... Not getting sleep tonight. I'll see you tomorrow."
"Bye," She hung up the phone and I continued working quietly.

Jamie

"Why welcome back Ms. Miller," Mr. Tiff welcomed. Math being my first class and homeroom really sucked.
"Thank you," I said polity. Mr. Tiff never used his full last name Mr. Tiffany, which I found understandable. His silver hair and wrinkled face with fating pink color looks like it's been through enough. I took my place by Sara and smiled, but she couldn't even look at me.
"Hey," I whispered.
"Look I'm sorry..."
I sighed and closed my eyes, "I'm willing to forgive and forget," I opened my eyes and watched her smile. Feeling better I smiled back. I wasn't going to lose anybody if I didn't really need to.

The next two weeks were good. I found my ways to catch up pretty quick, if you ask me. Dad left that Wednesday, Aaron and I attended to that 30 Seconds to Mars concert, Ariana came back, and summer was here. Sure we had to study for upcoming finals, but we were pretty excited about summer.
Regardless on what's happened this year couldn't have gotten better.

Regardless on what's happened this year couldn't have gotten better. - Regardless of what happend,
Mr. Tif? lol! That's kinda funny. A man;s last name is Tiffany? Anyway, if I was Jamie I wouldn;t know if i could trust my friend or not after that, but I applaud her for making things right.
