Not EnoughA Poem by Of This Earth
Wasn't fast enough. Quick enough. Thorough enough. Complete enough. It served up this twisted dyternity.
Then circled again-eating tale. The city's steam at the mouth of big river- emptying, emptying. I feel so lonely- swept up like distant star struggles through darkness to reach sight of beloved. I am so afraid and unafraid too. Fearing the night and day equally. Folding in on the should's like scattered tacks across the floor-finding their way in your foot at every step.
