My Mountain Man

My Mountain Man

A Poem by E.A Cummins

And in that moment I realized he was my mountain man. He was a mountain of a man. He withstands so many seasons of life, with little wear. He takes it all in stride. I've met many mountain men, but he is the tallest and strongest.

The words against him, roll over him, like weather does a true mountain. The snow may sit a top of him, but it never changes him.

The only thing that CAN move him

is faith alone.

And I've never met a mountain

that strong.
