SilhouetteA Poem by Suicidal Cupid
A shadowed face grins at me through a ceaseless smile. The clouds part, momentarily,
long enough for me to grasp a winding wave of glimmer. A trick into misfortune or a sadistic game to be played? The shadowed face leaves the questioned unclear. To the glimmer i hold tightly. And to the shadowed face i stand still. I feel its eyes upon me as a taunting cascade of fear drapes me into uncertainty. Uncertainties of tomorrow. Will this glimmer i hold now so tightly stay within my keeping? Or has the shadowed face disguised his evil intentions once again? The moon rises into a see-through sky. Its veil of white rains down revealing the shadowed face. Revealing the mirror that keeps it. Revealing that which i already knew. © 2010 Suicidal Cupid |
