Seasons of LoveA Poem by Dylan Kerr"Love is the only flower that grows and blossoms without the aid of the seasons." -Khalil GibranA full moon shining on a cool summer night Looking at the stars, with the most beautiful girl in sight Enjoying the end of summer with the love of my life Love in the air, and I swear I have never been this much in love With summer long and gone, fall has come upon As leaves gently fall to the ground, I'm so happy to have you around Going on autumn adventures, you certainly are my guilty pleasure As autumn marches toward winter, I say 'I love you' with a little whisper Seeing your perfect smile, sends winter chills down my spine So hard to believe that you are all mine Sitting by a warm fire, as a beautiful white, bright snow glistens on the ground outside You and I talk until we see the morning night sky Days become longer, nights become shorter Winter coming to an end, spring another season together we spend Flowers blooming, the love for each other is still brewing All the concerts, all of the movies, all the seasons, all of the time spent together The cycle continues, summer is coming again, and loving you has never been an issue My honey, my princess, my love, you really are my guilty pleasure That's why you'll always be my favorite adventure © 2016 Dylan KerrAuthor's Note
