A Moment

Where every moment spent with you, is a moment I treasure.

Before you, I never thought I’d fall in love. 

That nobody would be able to fill this void in my heart.

All of that changed the moment I met you. 

All it took was one single moment to realize that love was in the air. 

One moment, was all it took to have you on my mind all day 

Thinking about your smile, your pretty brown eyes, and your luscious dark brown hair. 

Your beauty I couldn’t comprehend, and after our first date, I knew we’d be more than friends. 

You made me believe in soul mates, which I always thought was cheesy. 

You managed to see right through me. 

When the moment came to say I love you

You cried of happiness, which made me feel like a champion. 

And every moment you say those words to me, make my heart pound.

In my head, I play it over and over again, because I just love the way that sounds. 

All it took was one moment, to find the love of my life.

a very romantic write...yes, simple in a way, and cheesy in a way...but sometimes love is just that simple...it knocks us over the head, and there we are.

especially when we have suffered previous pain and just aren't looking for it, at all...
