The Nazi Soldier
Dylan Chase James
She is the supreme country, we are the finer race,
Our intention is to rid the Jews, evacuate this place,
Commandant to mein Fuhrer, Germany the Great,
Heil Hitler I salute you, we exercise your hate.
The Holocaust Final Solution, many I shall kill,
In my grey pressed uniform, a fascist at your will,
For the Treaty of Versailles, blood thirst and bitter rage,
I round them up like little lambs in an Auschwitz Birkenau cage.
With pistol at my side, I don’t wait for a command,
Black polished boots, it’s a swastika on my band,
Why does my wife cry so for prisoners at the camp?
The hollow-eyed deserved of starvation, squalor, damp.
Frau Schulz says I am evil, I’ve lost my bloody mind,
I cannot worship God if I massacre mankind,
They’re gypsies, gays and Jews, suchlike for the gas,
Some of then disabled, as humans they don’t pass.
It’s power that a Nazi learns quickly to desire,
How dare the allied forces profess Hitler is a liar,
We shall become a race of blonde haired blue eyed men,
I shall not think to gas them with Zyklon-B again.
And these were my thoughts afore Germany surrendered,
Slaughtering entire families, their deaths, I engendered,
They’ve sentenced me to death for mass upon mass graves,
It shall never be the right of men to make other men their slaves.
