You never were, I always have.

You never were, I always have.

A Poem by Therene

How can you be so stupid?

I know you never loved me,

Yet I still love you.

But how dare you hold me back?

All I needed was to be assured;

Assured that I have a shoulder to cry on,

Assured that there’s always a silver lining.

You stood there as if you were that assurance.

I found my light.

Time unfolded that my love is fruitless.

The wind whispered, “It’s time to let go.”

In my goodbye, I sought a new life.

I thought you’d be happy for me.

Then again, you were frustrated.

You told me I didn’t care no more,

You told me I was never there.

How could you be so selfish?

I know you never loved me,

Yet I still love you.

But how dare you tell me I never did?

I can feel your emotion again! It's great and wonderful and each word is dripping with the pain you feel. Great job ^-^

This is awesome. Sort of has that 'Independent' touch to it :)

LOL@Listening to R&B
Well all I have to say is been there done that and I hate the way that I felt because of the "love"
This is a strong piece, it might not be one of your best pieces, but as always there's hidden meanings behind your words that will make most people think about what is being said.
So in that sense kudos to you XD
