Ten Years Old

Read author's note...

You were a ten year old,
Little boy with so much,
Of life ahead of you.

What caused you to want this?
Were you in pain?
Did you feel alone?

You let them beat you up,
So bad,
That you passed away.

You were only ten,
And you had so much to live for,
But you decided to have you're life.

And you had attempted this before,
And you made it,
But the second time you didn't...

This is what bothers me,
You were young...
And most of all you were ten...

Author's Note

My friend's brother passed away because he was so depressed. Yes, he was ten years old. He asked boys to beat him up...and he didn't make it...:/

This is a very sad poem, I don't know what I would have done if my 10 year old brother died.
