Stonger

Stonger

A Poem by Angie Diane♥♥

Now that I'm stronger,
I can face what I need to face.
Now that I'm stronger,
I can take what I need to take.
Now that I'm stronger,
I can imagine your face.
Now that I'm stronger,
You can try to get me to understand.
Now that I'm stronger,
I can stand up to you.
In the beginning I was weak.
I didn't want to understand anything you had to say.
I didn't want to stand up to you.
I didn't want to face what was bothering me.
I didn't want to imagine you at all.
I didn't want to do anything,
But now all I can say is that I'm stronger.

Through weakness we find our strength. I really like this piece especially the beginning, I just thought it flowed better than the end but overall it was nice. I enjoy you writing. :)

The struggles make us stronger, right? :)
This poem reminds me a lot of that saying.
What doesn't kil us makes us stronger.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful poem.
