I Could Fall in Love

I could fall in love with you. Based off a song.

He makes me smile,
He makes me laugh,
I could fall in love.
He makes me cry,
He makes me happy,
I could fall in love.
He loves me,
He cares for me,
I could fall in love.
When he's there I can smile,
When he's not around I cry,
I could fall in love.
Which is what I'm afraid of.

I like this, cute write. :) Love can be scary especially when you're young. The only suggestion I have is that I don't really like the repetition of "Cry" maybe you could find another word to use but it's your poem just my opinion. I enjoyed reading it.

A sweet poem! I liked the simplicity of this, and the way you were able to pack so much emotion into such a short piece. I thought that the repetition of 'I could fall in love' was really effective, and that it flowed well too. You ended the poem perfectly with the line 'Which is what I'm afraid of'. :)

I liked it a lot, mainly the last line. It kind of starts out happy then twists into fear. Love can be scary, but the scariest part of it is trying to trust someone with your heart. Thanks for sharing. :]
