Tristan has been going through a tough time lately. His mother recently passed away in a car accident. His father has been drinking heavily because of it. The only thing that has been helping him through it all is volleyball. His teammates are like family to him. Will things in Tristan’s life get better? Or will they get worse from here?

Blake has been watching the boys’ volleyball team for a while now. She really wants to talk to Tristan, but she’s too shy. Then an opportunity to talk to him appears. Will Blake overcome her shyness to speak with him? Or will she miss her chance?
