Shadow Princess- Chapter 2

Chapter 2

                “Domon, Hideyoshi, I didn’t expect to see you back so soon,” the king said knowing that his daughter still wasn’t back. The king sighed and got up from his throne. He looked at the two boys that were in front of him.

                “We couldn’t find anything at the last location, Sir,” Domon said. Domon looked slowly down at the ground unhappy that he couldn’t find her. She was important and Domon knew that.

                “I believe that her mother sent her to the future. So she probably isn’t in this era,” the king said slowly walking over to the boys. The boys kneeled when they got close to him. The king put his hand on Domon’s shoulder. “I know you did your best to locate her in the town. Her mother had something to do with her disappearance. I can feel it, but now that her mother has taken this illness we really need to find her. She is our only hope to save her mother and protect us from Aya’s army.”

                “Sir, so you think we should go to a different era to find her,” Hideyoshi asked looking up at the king. On his face you could tell that he was nervous to leave the era that they were in. The king could tell by the look on his face. The king nodded and walked back to his throne. Hideyoshi knew that he would do whatever it took to find her.

                “Domon, Hideyoshi, I would like you to go to the future era to see if you can locate her,” the king said. The both of them nodded and started to make preparations to go to the future.

                “Kyoko, your destiny is slowly approaching. You will need to this to be able to fulfill what you need to,” a man’s voice was heard. Suddenly an amulet appeared in front of Kyoko. When she took the amulet in her hand a light glowed around her. She transformed into her normal self. She was the Shadow Princess once again.

                A blast of energy shot towards her. Two males jumped in front of her and deflected the moves. She looked up to see them each wearing the crest that the amulet had on it. She knew then that those were her guardians.

                “Princess Kyoko, are you alright,” one of the males said. He looked over to see his princess.

                “I’m fine, Domon.” Kyoko said remembering the name of the male that was protecting her. Aya appeared in front of them. Aya was glaring at Kyoko and Kyoko could feel fear. Aya started to come at her with full force, but the other male that was with them wouldn’t let her near. He deflected each attack with his sword.

                “Get out of my way!” Aya shouted blasting him into a tree. Kyoko could feel anger building up into her body. All of a sudden her body glow black and shot a huge blast of energy from her hands. Aya tried to deflect, but her attack just got stronger. Aya was then destroyed.

                Kyoko woke up in cold sweat and got off of her bed. She looked at herself in the mirror and saw her normal reflection in the mirror. She looked the same as she always had. Glad that she wasn’t wearing what she was in her dream. “That dream again. Why do I keep having it?”

                Kyoko heard a knock on her door. Her mother poked her head inside. “Kyoko, are you okay? I heard you scream.”

                “I’m fine mother. I was just having a bad dream,” Kyoko said. She looked over to the clock to see that it was only three o’clock in the morning. Kyoko sighed and got back in bed. She needed to be up for school in two hours.

                “Alright, well get back to bed. You have a big day ahead of you tomorrow,” her mother said and chuckled. Kyoko nodded and did as she was told. Her thoughts were still on the dream that she was having. What was the dream trying to tell her? She needed to get to the bottom of it.

                Hideyoshi and Domon were getting ready to go through the portal. The King wished them the best and that he hoped that they would find his daughter. She needed to be found or the Shadow Kingdom would be in grave danger. The boys knew that. They needed to find their Princess as soon as they could.

                “Do you have the amulet,” Domon asked Hideyoshi.

                Hideyoshi nodded and put the amulet into the secret box of the Shadow Kingdom. Too anyone in the future era it would just look like an ordinary box. Only the Shadow Princess was going to be able to recognize it.

                The two men looked at each other knowing that this would be a long journey to find their princess.
