"Inside" by the company PlayDead, the same company that had earlier released "Limbo" was a major videogame that came out for the PC and several other gaming platforms.

The premise was simple, find the reason of your existence. To do so you controlled this small boy with a seemingly blank face. To stop you were secret agents shooting tranquilizer darts who would also leap out and attack you and smother your face in ether, in their efforts to kidnap you as you traveled through this dark forest.

Clearly you were very important to them or they would not have put out such a wide manhunt for you. Later you realize you have super powers of your own, however they have yet to be cultivated. So begins our fan-fiction and novelization of, "Inside."
