David's Dibs:

Error in link, corrected.

This is one very slick and polished Dungeon Crawler and you are getting it a day early as I see Rose on the morrow.

It has an excellent and intelligent combat engine.

A few suggestions, anyone in the back rows of combat CANNOT attack unless they have a ranged weapon, like a bow or crossbow. So if you have a player in the back lines, give him or her a bow so they can join the battle and not just wait for someone to die in front so they can be active.

Explore thoroughly. Monsters are clearly labeled with the double-crossed swords icon. It may well be to your advantage to save them for last after you have explored all other areas in a dungeon to collect the free loot and treasures lying on the ground.

A player dying in this game does not bring them back to life after combat. You must use a restorative item, and these will be few and far between. Select the 3rd option in combat, the one with the frownie face, "Defiance" to survive an outcome.

While you won't get a chance to attack, you will hold your own and NOT die with the next hit. It's vital you remember this if your cleric cannot heal you or you don't think this character is going to survive another round of combat.

You also cannot attack any monsters except those that are near you. If your character is at the far left, you will only be able to attack those in the left column and middle column.

Outside of combat, click on any of your 4-characters below. A doll will appear to the left showing what items you have equipped for that area. Below "Party Inventory" will be the items you have.

Don't hesitate to experiment and find the best weapons and armor for your players at this point. Focus on ranged weapons for those players in the back row of combat.

When you are on the map and you do see the double-sword icon showing there are monsters there, hover the mouse pointer over the icon to see the exact strength and number of them. It may be to your advantage to fight the strongest ones last as you will gain abilities and experience points from weaker battles first.

And once again, try not to have any of your characters die as while you may have a handful of revival potions to begin with, they are going to be hard to find in the future and combat will be that much harder without their help.

. . .

Note, this game like most flash programs may show you logos before the game begins. Unless you want to pop-up new company pages in your browser, be patient before clicking.

CLICK the WHITE text that says, "P L A Y   G A M E"

Wait for the 3-icons to appear. Click the far LEFT one that appears to be an imprinted circle with an arrow facing up in it.

Then click on the far left column, to BEGIN A NEW GAME !

Enjoi !
