Here are 10 more unusual and bizarre dreams I have recorded. And like the others - they seem to go all over the place.
GHOST SUMMONER
[1] Dreamed I was at my Mom's house, she was selling spirits or something. It was big and electrical. She turned it on and it created a ghost. The power in the place flickered badly when she used it.
Then things started breaking in the house too for no reason. Rachel was just laughing at it all. It was very bad.
GOING WITH MOM [2]
Dreamed Dad and Dottie were hating me at a meal. Dottie was throwing food at me. Dad gave me a box with a button. When I pushed it, I heard a police siren. The police then actually arrive and they are going to arrest me.
But then the policeman says, I think I see what is going on here. You hate your son. And my Mom was there to hold my hand and take me away to live with her. I would go with her.
NEVER SAY DIE [3]
Dreamed I was going over to Dad's to have some dinner. Obviously he died 5-years ago. When I got there and mentioned he had died, the whole dream turned into a terrible nightmare. Dad turned into this horrible monster like thing that glowed green and he burned my skin when he touched it, and he was pulling on my legs trying to push me in the ground.
Very much a nightmare.
RECALLING LITTLE MATCH GIRL
[4] What a fantastic dream. Dreamed I was back in the 18th century. I was in a horse-drawn carriage. I leaned back and my sister said, are you tired little brother. I said yes. So I leaned back more and suddenly everything was spinning.
SODA POP [5] I was dreaming of many different kinds of soda pop. Dad was there too. He was visiting me, I think I was in the ward again. He brought me a strawberry soda and we sat and talked about the past.
KEEPING THE RAIN OUT [6]I was at school with my Mom and it was raining. She let me borrow a hat to keep the rain off of me. It was raining really hard. And we went to get some food which was $3.20 which wasn't bad.
We were at a restaurant and told we could get a discount if we would wash our own dishes. I remember the food kept falling off of the plate.
My Mom was already seated though and enjoying her lunch. Mine just kept falling off. What we were eating was weird stuff.
Like sliced carrots and jelly. Crazy dream.
WRENCHED CHILD [7]
Dreamed Dad was pulling a baby out of a woman's hand. He was using both his own hands for a grip and pulling hard at it. The baby was a newborn and unfamiliar to me.
I was drawing a picture at the time of a series of circles and somehow the ink color kept changing though I used only one pen.
Then Dad went to pull something out from under the refrigerator, and it was another newborn. At this point I screamed and woke up.
CHOCOLATE MILK
[8] Dreamed I was at this halfway house. I saw a tray with several chocolate milk. I asked if I could have one please. The lady holding the tray said I need to get in line like the rest of everyone else. Very similar to the last time I was in the ward.
I said, okay, I understand, it's my first day here. I looked in the line and saw Abraham Lincoln holding out his hands like he, too, would like a chocolate milk.
Then she said something odd, your back itches, doesn't it ?
So she took my shirt off and rubbed her fingers on my back and said, right here, isn't it ?
I woke up feeling ticklish in my back.
HEART ATTACK
[9]
IOne of my sister's friends at the halfway house received a slip of paper saying she could leave.
No sooner did she get outside she started having a heart attack. She gripped onto a handle of a van nearby and the worker there said she cannot use the van as it is only for those people inside.
Then I woke up.
B-CLASS SCI-FI
[10] Funny dream. I was part of a protection crew for mutant humanoid attacks. And it was like a dreadful monster movie. And we had some alien DNA mixed in with humans to make things dicey. The character I played in the movie was as stupid as can be.
Just read 'Your Deceptive Mind' by Steven Novella. He talks about research into the human brain. One thing researchers have discovered is that while in sleep we are still in a type of consciousness only certain parts of our brain have been turned off. In particular, the interesting one, is that the part of our brains which distinguishes between what is 'real' or 'normal' and what is not is turned off while sleeping. So we are free to have these seemingly strange thoughts and accept them as real in our dreams and then wonder at their strangeness when we wake up. It's a very interesting book if you like that sort of thing. http://www.amazon.com/Your-Deceptive-Mind-Scientific-Critical/dp/B00DTNWF2Q

I did do a little controlled dreaming last night and managed to visit a girl I knew back in 3rd grade to see how she was doing.

Don't know if you ever listen to audio books but it's just about the only way I 'read' nowadays. I think I only paid about $15 for it, and if you sign up for Audible, I'm pretty sure you get a free credit for any book on the site.

One thing I did was take the audio of of all the TOS Star Trek series w William Shatner and convert them to WMA files for on the go.
I play them when I'm cleaning home as I seem to be very productive listening to them in the background.
I have several radio plays, the best likely being THE SHADOW, also Smiling Ed Mcconnel's, "Buster Brown Gang" a radio show from several years ago.

More and more are we entering a world on the Internet where you LEASE items instead of actually purchasing them. Not a good business model IMHO.

When they loan out the audio to you, it is done in a special format and only for a limited time. You can use their player for the DRM but once your time is up, it can no longer be played until you check it out again.
I'm always hesitant when I see something FREE online and they need my credit card number to finalize it.

Next time you're at the library see if they got Steven Novella. :)
