DEV BORNE
Unassuming Young Boy

Dev Borne is just your average 16-year old boy, that is until he received the mysterious plugin that changed both his and Tyr's life.

He often wore more grown-up clothes spending time thinking more about what to learn rather than how to appear to others. He usually wore plain-color T-shirts, standard knee-high shorts with little brass buttons, and a blue-grey set of tennie-shoes with matching white socks. He also seldom changed his style.

His glasses were light blue and round, but still not terribly attractive, and they were over-sized for his age. He also didn't like the fact that his glasses bugged out his own eyes making him an easy target for ridicule.

Dev was born in the Heart Happy Hospital of Wanabee to his Mother Suzy and her Husband Harold. There were no complications, and it was a good birth. The doctor did mention that one part of his brain was slightly larger than most babies born there, but the married couple dismissed it as a good, healthy sign.

Dev is bright, much brighter than most boys his age, and it showed with his comprehensive understanding of mathematics and science. Because of this, his parents gave him an expensive computer when he was only 8-years old.

Tyr, his girlfriend cried for a computer too so Dev's father gave her a laptop, which she only uses to play games on and chat with her friend Lilly, not being worried in learning anything outside of her base interests.

Dev gets very high marks in school. He rarely studies, often in his free time researching things in books that exceed any questions on tests he had in school. He is deeply interested in computers and artificial intelligence. He is delighted to have found SIM later on the plugin.

It is rather Tyr who is the girlfriend of Dev than the other way around. Tyr met Dev at school when she was 7-years old and had such an extreme crush on him, she beat him up after school one day and sat on him in front of everyone, holding him there, until he relented to be her boyfriend "Forevered and Ever."

Dev, rarely getting angry, and hardly ever standing up for himself, and also being a little frightened at what she did to him, always gave in to Tyr's teasing and demands. Since then, they've been close friends, with Tyr rather forcefully pushing herself on him, and often inappropriately.

It is only since last year did he realize that Tyr truly does love him for him, and so he returns the love, dearly loving her for her, when she did act ladylike, which wasn't too often.

Dev, however is a nice boy, helpful, considerate, caring, and compassionate. He is terribly naive in the ways of his sexual orientation and Tyr often uses this against him to get her way on things. Dev is shy, introverted, bashful, and a bit of a nerd in truth, but his heart almost always in the right place.

Dev rarely ever stands up against Tyr either, on anything, knowing there will always be serious repercussions if he does so, usually involving embarrassing him terribly, and often in public. She always has a huge slice of humble pie waiting for him if he attempts even remotely to confront her on anything.

Dev's favorite TV show is called, "Captain Circumference" which deals with a cartoon hero and investigator who solves crimes entirely through mathematics and language skills. The hero has a sidekick named, Hypotenuse, and fights the evil ways of Baron Von Obtuse.
