Wow ! Does that look like rain to you ? It sure does to me ! Chris was telling me that I need to keep an eye out for any green funnels. I asked why green and he said cause a tornado will rip up the ground, grass and all, and hurl it into the sky. Brrr !
But I'm getting ahead of myself. Let's go back a piece.
First, Carlos, my Godfather, came to visit and he took me by the doctor's. While I'm there with the doctor,
Carlos usually does some interesting sculptures with the LEGOs that are
out in the main waiting room.
And this was the week to visit my sister which is a long distance from here ! All the way to Alvarado ! You can see we are bypassing the MILLER factory where they make the beer.
Getting to my sister's farm, usually the first thing I see is dogs and cats. This time it was cats.
Carlos has a cat of his own, Gracie, so he's no stranger to cats and kittens. This one sure is affectionate with Carlos !
My sister raises goats and chickens professionally. Here are some of her goats.
For lunch we decided to go to a restaurant with a funny name, "The Laughing Pig."
After placing and waiting for our orders, I took some photos of the inside. As you can see, they are really big on The King, Elvis.
One thing my sister showed me while we were there was her, "Chicken Book." Since she raised them professionally, she had to know whose was which and which was whose.
I saw Chris a few days after that, we drove all the way to Dallas to this German restaurant he wanted to try. While we waited, I took some pictures of the place. As you can see these are elegantly designed Steins, or flasks for holding mead and beer.
Whole cakes for sale, and you can bet one of them is German Chocolate. :)
The Restaurant was connected to a grocery store where you could buy other fine German and imported items.
Lots of fresh produce & meats.
Pickled & Savory goods.
A real meat market in the back.
And some candies on a side-shelf. I bought myself some Haribo Frogs. They look like little perfect little frogs but have juicy fruit flavors to them.
Back outside I saw these two fellows enjoying some ice-cream on a bench just outside the parlor. Notice the optical illusion of the round stone design overlapping the bench. I'm not sure how it photographed this way.
Then Chris took me to a hotel where it was busy BIZZY ! Everyone was all bustling around and - something seemed a little strange at first. Then I realized it was a BEARS get-together.
As for what BEAR means, that's precisely why this writing is rated PG rather than G. :)
And if I was interested in Teddy Bears, well, they were here but most of them were made entirely out of LEATHER.
I bought a T-Shirt for myself from one of the stands for $20. Maybe I got a size too large. Anyways, I liked the symbology of it.
This rubber duck is brought to you by the censorship of Writer's Cafe. It portrays a female mannequin wearing a leather outfit. By including the original picture, this entire post is deemed MATURE.
And then we were out of the hotel and onto another store, this one specializing in anything and everything leather.
From here I bought a bracelet for $25. Having worn handcuffs before, both in and out of the playroom, it's a gentle reminder for me to behave and not get locked up again.
They also had this really cool leather Teddy Bear for sale at $100. Here you can see Chris picking him up for the photo. A little out of my price bracket, but next week ? We'll see. Would love to add him to my collection. :)
And that's it ! Aside from some very torrential rainstorms on the way home, it was all peaceful. Hope you enjoyed the photos and tour !
Great and interesting write. I love places like those two restaurants. Not into bears myself but glad you enjoyed it. Where is that German place? I'd like to visit.

Then, when I returned to sign myself back in, it wouldn't let me. Now, I have to wait 12 hours to try signing back in.
Anyways, considering the way the mannequin and teddy bear were dressed, it looked like an S&M or sex shop.

As for Yahoo. Yep, the bastids made me change my password too. Now it won't even remember it so I always have to look it up as it's random digits and letters.

How did you get back into your Yahoo account? It's the 2nd day I've been blocked.

Earlier this morning, I had to return to the main sign in page and go into the part about not being able to sign in. Then, I had to send Yahoo the message to have them send me a code by text messaging. Yahoo texted me the code, in order to reset my password, which was stupid. I never changed my password in all the 10 years I had that address because I never had any problems, until Monday morning. Well, at least I got back into my e-mail after 2 days.

Silly, saying that someone was attempting to tamper with my account. No, I know for a fact Yahoo just wants to glean out the cellphone numbers of everyone they can and say it is an added measure of, "security" on their part. Yah right. Glad you got yours recovered so easily.

If anything, my other Yahoo account needs a password change. I'm still convinced that my Yahoo account, that I use for jobs was hacked because I'm getting e-mail messages, that I didn't send to myself about jobs I've never worked at and other things.
