What happened today ?
I went to go see my doctor today and we talked about some of the weird dreams I'm having. Still nightmares about Middle- and High-school. After that I went to visit my sister out in the country.
She had things fixed up very nicely for Halloween and made some snacks me and Carlos could enjoy.
Roasted pumpkin seeds, very salty but good, Halloween cookies with decorations on them, little Tangerine Oranges decorated like pumpkins, Mummy Fingers (Pigs In A Blanket), and snake eggs (eggs she dyed with crazy stripes).
We also watched cause Kay bought it, "Pacific Rim." I hadn't seen this film yet but watched it now. Imagine Transformers Meets Godzilla.
Well - maybe I need to see it again. Yep, it's chock fulla special FX and really neat stuff to look, shiny buttons and lights and junk, but I couldn't really find a like or dislike for the characters, except for the cute oriental girl with the pretty purple tipped hair and that's always gonna be an interest with me in movies.
So once I watch it good and proper later this week, I'll post my review on it too in the next Video Review.
Can't think of much more than that. Halloween will soon be upon us ! Not sure if school gets out or anything. Be careful wearing a costume after dark, especially if it's black and non-reflective. Walk in a group if you can. There's safety in numbers.
Tomorrow I'll write up a new Barrier chapter (the big duke-aroo finishes with Tyr and Cheldon), catch up on some more RRs, comments, and go from there. Have a great evening !
Now class, I'll be back in just a few minutes ...
Do you usually go and act crazy and stuff when the teacher leaves the classroom for a few minutes ? It's okay, I'm not gonna tell anyone, but have you asked yourself why you do this ?
I remember the massive paper plane scenario that happened. It was... the whole class. The teacher was livid. I think this was junior 2. That is UK class for kids aged 8/9 and yep, it hadn't taken more than many minutes to fill the whole room with planes.
Usually I preferred to get on with my work. I was a good kid (mostly)

Wow ! The whole CLASS was filled with paper airplanes ? LOL ! I bet that teacher was ready to bop so.. read moreWow ! The whole CLASS was filled with paper airplanes ? LOL ! I bet that teacher was ready to bop someone there. :D
I - was rather the opposite. There was a pachinko machine in the main office for the 1st-2nd grade school I went to. While everyone else was being a NUT, the teacher would quietly walk over to me and give me a green square. A little cardboard square to show I was behaving. Everyone knew this and hated me for it.
The green square could be redeemed after school for 2-pachinko balls. I know one day, the last day of school I had 12-pachinko balls cause I was so well-behaved and cause I practiced at that darned thing so much I had 40 balls eventually and that machine was all active with balls bip-bopping everywheres till the principal told me to go home and I could play more when I arrived next year. :)
I begged and pleaded Dad to buy me a Pachinko machine so we went to Pier One Imports to see the price. At the time they were $300. I was a smart enough kid to realize Dad wasn't gonna buy that for me.
But that same year he DID buy me for Christmas a buncha Tomy Pocket games and so I thoroughly enjoyed those. It's a shame I got bored with them after a few years, I would love to see them again today. My favorite was Secret Passage and that magnetic racing car game.

I remember making the loud sound of the engine for those race cars as I played with that thing near the fireplace during winter. Dad brought me some cookies. He joked with my sister (older than me, she was reading a magazine on the couch) that he put a muffler on my engine. I thought that was mean at the time but today I can laugh at it. I sure do miss him ...
