What happened today ? Rather quiet Wednesday. Carlos arrived, we watched the pilot episode to Pan Am which I was interested in. Headed over to the doctor's. He talked to me for a-while. He's a little concerned that I'm still dreaming a half-hour after I wake up. We talked about another possible medication change. I did that again this morning, talking to someone who wasn't there. It's just - if you hear someone talking to you - you answer back, right ? I don't know how else you are supposed to handle it. Went out to eat. Carlos talked about some stop-animation work he did years ago. I told him the best case I had seen of that is a Czech version of Alice In Wonderland I have and would he like to see it ? He said sure, so we got back and I started it. Now the version I had earlier was B&W, curiously this one was in color, but it wasn't English dubbed but Czech audio - so after he left I installed some English subtitles for it. Now if you're interested I can post it here for you, but I give you fair warning, - it is REALLY creepy. I rate it PG-13 for strangeness and filthiness. Definitely not for children, not with a taxidermist rabbit in stop-motion animation eating spoonfuls of sawdust and skeletons of other animals all running around her. Finding nails in raspberry jam and lots of very sharp objects for Alice to cut herself on. And when the Queen says, "Off with their head," it actually happens which is pretty disturbing to say the least. Sorta like traveling through hell really. Alice is the right age tho, about 7-years old. Nothing is clean, it's all full of dirt, depression, age, and sharp dangerous objects from what appears to be antiques. And the world she travels through is just filthy in every possible way, nothing is washed and it's all grimy and rusted traveling through this 'Wonderland.' But I must admit, it =IS= artistic in it's own way as almost everything is stop-motion animation and for it's time period it certainly must've taken a VERY long time to animate by recording each frame of motion considering it's a full 90-minute movie. And perhaps for it's time it's all Czechoslovakia could do for children's programming. Anyways, tomorrow I'll post a new writing for you guys in school. Something you'll like. Otherwise, the rain has finally let up, cool air and evenings are upon us, so stay safe and have a wonderful night. ![]() Are you more worried more about doing things right, or just doing what you FEEL is the right thing ? © 2013 dw817Featured Review
