What happened today ?

Pretty well it was just a nice quiet Monday. As you could see from my initial post, I definitely overslept ! I sometimes think I'm part bear and could certainly hibernate this winter given the opportunity to. :)

I did get the first chapter posted to Barrier, or I am now calling it, "Future Barrier." I'm thinking a Google search may have difficulty finding my story if it is just called, "Barrier" but with the new name, perhaps that will narrow it down for people.

This is not the first time someone has mentioned they really like my Dreamer Diary entries. Hmm ... Well, I guess the good news is I will never run out. I had 6-more dreams this morning, one of which I was having a conversation with my sister from a dream that carried long after I woke up, shut off my alarm, and started to shower.

I was telling Rose that I was still talking to my sister in the shower and she was answering back from my dream and she said that she NEVER wants to take the medications I do. Ah well. :)

Can't think of much more than that. I'm looking forward to seeing Rose this 26th and 27th and my sister out in the country on the 30th, and - then it's November ! Hard to believe another year is just about come and gone and my Birthday will be in there. I will be 47 !

I will tell all you younglings (is that a word ?), those of you who are rushing to grow up, don't be in such a hurry. From my personal experience your youth will most definitely be the best years of your life - savor them, take it slow, and be careful out there.

When you get older those infernal years will just start to fly by and it's almost frightening how fast they go. :)

Tomorrow I'll post 10-more movie reviews including the elusive Ashers (and a link where to find to watch it Online), and of course a new chapter to Future Barrier. Have a great evening !

Litter.
I hate litter and think it is something that taints the beautifully created earth. Litter takes many forms. It can come in chewing gum which is hard to remove. It could be animal faeces that never gets cleaned. You dog owners know who you are!
Perhaps it's a polluted river. I hate looking at unclean natural water.
And when I walk in the countryside, I am dismayed when a sweet wrapper or something bigger whaps me in the face as the wind picks it up.
So, there. I want a cleaner earth. I feel it would have a positive effect on everybody.
When you see a littered community, you don't feel like it NEEDS looking after.
When you see a bit of litter here and there, you get accustomed to it, and familiar, and it seems "acceptable".

Recycling does its part, but if I had my wish, we wouldn't even have landfill sites, it'd just "disappear". I can but wish.

Trash in general then. I agree. Many times in my teens I'd be hanging out with Brett and company and I'd see them toss some trash in the street and I'd go to pick it up. They'd laugh at me and say what am I ? Woodsy's friend ? Cause that was the motif guy for keeping trash picked up, Woodsy The Owl. And I'd smile and say, yah I guess so. It didn't bother me.

I know I was coming home from shopping just a few weeks ago today. I was crossing an intersection to get to my apartment when a woman talking with another had an empty drink can and thew it over her head.

Curiously I caught it, even as loaded down with groceries as I was. She heard me behind her and saw that I caught it and was angry and said give me that !

I walked right past her to the trash bin no less than 7-feet from where she stood and put it in there. I gave her one disparaging look, then left.

Then they giggled to themselves about how rude I was. Yah. Life goes like that. But yes, I truly wish people wouldn't litter.

I know Penn & Teller did a special on trash in the world. I really do like those guys. If you like I can find it for you, Jed.

Please do :) Glad you have a similar frame of mind to me, on this. I surprised myself to come up with something like this as what I want most. But it really would make a difference.

Here ya go. I love these guys. Just wish they would do magic tricks while they explain important stuff like this as they totally rock as magicians since they always reveal their tricks. :D

Glad you like it. It comes from a series called, Bull$hit (pardon my vernacular). Basically a series where Penn & Teller confront age-old myths about things and prove them to be quite the opposite.

Refreshing, rewarding, and responsible. I really like it.
