What happened today ?

Chris called me in the afternoon and we went out to eat. Then he said we are going to the RODEO, so that surprised me !

We got there and, well, there was no-one there. We finally saw some people unloading longhorn steers but they gave us an odd look. We walked around checking out things for about a half hour, still no people and it was really quiet. Finally Chris looked at his schedule and determined that we were there a week early. So - well, okay, and we looked around anyways.

I took a few photos of statues and tile-paintings but that was about it. He said we'll go proper next week.

Then we went to his place and watched the amazing Ashers movie. And it really was pretty good, I give it 4-stars (I'll review 10-more movies this Tuesday, you can find the current selection I've done so far
HERE). I'll add my review of this very unique film then too.

Then we watched some good old Doctor Who with my favorite Dr, Jon Pertwee. He always was kindly. I wish he was my grandfather.

Anyways, finished that up, borrowed Chris's, "The Host" (the Korean one, not the English one) so I can run some experiments on it, did a bit of frivolous shopping and back home again.

Tomorrow (Monday) I'll post the first chapter to Barrier, a mega-major science-fiction comedy novel series of mine, and - oh yes - a new Monday's Wit & Wisdom which seems to be pretty popular now. :)

And yes, every time you see a new page in here, it means I've logged out for the day and am headed for bed (or am working towards it).

You ever make fun of someone so much that you think you
should thank them for all the good times you’ve had ?

Hehe. I had to re-read this question to understand it.
I guess I do have an example of this, thinking about it...
There's a particular manager at work who just doesn't get sarcasm at all. It's quite fun to throw the odd comment out there.

I'm pretty sure if Chris couldn't tease or trick me anymore like he does, he would soon tire of me. .. read more
