What happened today ?
Well let's see. I got some laundry done, checked my outside mailbox, it was full of stuff including a magazine I think Rose requested. Hmm ... She's of the opinion she can always get the first one free and cancel. But it doesn't work like that.
You KNOW after you get the first one they're gonna send you a bill and expect payment for the full year's amount - always, so it's a hassle for me to try and get it canceled for her again. Ah well.
Got a 2nd visit (twice in 2-days) from religious folk wanting me to go to their church and do I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior ? Wow. I need to get a sign, "No Soliciting," like Rose has.
Anyways I see Chris on Sundays (tomorrow). Asides I long decided that religion is a PERSONAL thing. Not an institution or organization - and don't get me started on talking about the DOs and DON'Ts of religion or I'll push some of my articles of the subject on ya. Scary I know. :)
Tried out the new headphones I bought proper. They work great and block out all the noise from outside at night. Yes, I don't live in the quietest neighborhood so these help. I remember Dad years ago said when teens 'cruise' by at night on the road with their music as loud as it will go - just think of apes in a forest beating their chest, no difference.
At the time he told me, 12, I laughed and thought it was silly. Today, however I fully agree with him. Beating on their chest cause they don't have the brains to impress the girl they're after - instead, deafen 'em with decibels. :)
Anyways I had forgotten I had archived some Sid & Marty Krofft videos from the source so the video you are looking at, "Pilot to Lost Saucer," should be just about as good quality as you can possibly get on the Internet. And yes, you can find it in Youtube as well though it's in pieces there.
Can't think of much more than that except that I'm looking forward to seeing Chris tomorrow and ask him how the rodeo went !
And
yes, every time you see a new page in here, it means I've logged out
for the day and am headed for bed (or am working towards it).
Have you ever seen insanity before where later you saw startling creativity ?
Not sure I fully grasp the question.
But if I take it as I read it, then my answer would have to be...
always let people work things out for themselves.
Just because people choose to do things in a way that's different to how you'd do it, doesn't mean it's WRONG. And besides, the results can be quite satisfying from time to time.
Give people the chance to surprise you.
I wish people would give me a chance sometimes. I occasionally do something technically good in my job, but I might go about it in a different way to others.
Or when it comes to speaking to people, I like to listen longer, where others will butt in before they give the other person the chance to express themselves.
Nope, if you want to see creativity, don't ever stifle it.
And remember, for every criticism you give in life, make sure you can compensate to that person or to others with FOUR compliments.

Sometimes I come across something strange and - I may not entirely understand it, and it can be frustrating. One problem I have in the world is I try to understand everything - EVERYTHING.
When in Alice In Wonderland The Mad Hatter asked Alice, "Why is a raven like a writing desk ?"
I =HAD= to find the answer to that. It was imperative. And ultimately I did and even wrote an article to that effect on my findings,

But yes, I see what you are saying here. Insanity can at times merely be a raw and unprepared bit of intelligence, it is just we do not recognize it as this because of it's lack of trappings.
