What happened today ?

Apparently this was my day to visit Chris ! And that's fine, it's always good to see him.

But the day is now gone now so what all happened ?

He invited me out to a nice Mexican Restaurant and they had it decorated for Halloween.

We stopped by Target where I got me a wicked cool new set of earphones. Been using the same set for years, nice to have a new set now.

We stopped by to pick up his new reading glasses. We were there for about an hour. Chris is a really neat guy but BOY does he want things just right. :) I also got myself a loop for my glasses.

We went to a Halloween Store and I took some photos of costumes and robots and stuff there, didn't buy anything tho, it was all pretty expen$ive.

We went to Lowe's where he said he needed a new toilet seat cause Robert messed up the other one. o k a y

We went to Best Buy to look at some 1TB drives. I haven't made my mind up yet. I wanna research a little more so I'll buy one this next week when I see him.

Went to Albertson's and did a bit of shopping. I picked up some coffee and creamer.

He offered me to go to the Rodeo with him tomorrow but I declined. It's - not really that exciting to me. Kinna pee-yooie with horsey patootie in the barns and last time I went I just saw the car and sales exhibits and not much else.

Spoke with Rose on the phone when I got in, she has an outstanding bill for a magazine service she didn't order. Hmm ...

Was reading this cool article on Yify - yep - I know, spent too long doing that (about a half hour), but it was good reading since I'm encoding and doing computer stuff all the time. [Link]

FINALLY got in back into here, WC - and well - I'm posting this page, getting to bed early, and will try to get some more catching up on RRs done on the morrow.

JED, I hadn't forgotten you ! It's rare for Chris to ask for a day for me to visit other than Sunday (and he wants to see me Sunday as well) so I will definitely reply to all private and public messages you sent on the morrow (Saturday).

And yes, every time you see a new page in here, it means I've logged out for the day and am headed for bed (or am working towards it).

So, Jed, how old are you?
Well, Jed. I don't know.
I get giddy at times, and laugh at things more than many people do.
But I have a maturity about me which I think helps me show empathy to people of all ages. I know that's not possible to put myself in the shoes of those generations older than me what with their reservoir of life experiences, but I find I can get on with people of any age.
Still no further on in finding out how old I am... If I didn't know.

Well, I have started to get a few aches and pains, so I can't say I'm "young" any more. I think things bother my mind more than a carefree youth would be able to get on.
I don't go out drinking from night to night.

I still am competitive when it comes to sport, especially tennis. But that's a healthy contribution to my life.

I'd say I was older than I really was, based on my mentality (excluding the giddiness from time to time, which will be with me forever :) )

But what's interesting is that I am often told I look younger than I am.
But I know different.

Sounds to me like you are young as you are and old as you feel. :)

I'm - not so sure where I would fit in this category.

Because I'm methodical people call me old. Because I'm impulsive people call me young. Because I'm helpful people call me mature. Because I'm trusting people call me naive. I can't be all of these things - can I ? :)
