The greatest being within each other. To fight against their mortal brother. With Brigadiers to march and lead the way, Waving broad red stripes into the fray. Killing shots were fired, tallied on the rack. Let no-one escape, shoot them all in the back ! And who can say who's on whose side ? And who can say who's lived or died ? And when the battle is over and the glory is won, Can we ever say the fighting is truly done ? So take heed and don't let prejudice tear you apart. For we all share in kinship - the Human Heart. I pray for the day where men can call each other Brother. Hold hands, unite the world, and be friends with one another. For war does not tell who is right or wrong, Only who is LEFT to pray in mournful psalm ... Return back HOME   You are Earth Visitor #

That was like when I got those storybooks with audio and I slipped in I would get lost and spend my days listening to stories. Wow, it made me feel better to here it, and how you wanted to be read and hear the music and flow to it. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I felt like I could flow into the sky! AWESOME JOB! woot woot :D

I' always thought I had a squeaky voice. I remember hearing guys talking at school in the hallway and then I try to be friends and I say something and they look at me funny. I had one even ask if I've been sucking helium and I said no, it's just me.

Anytime you're different at school, you're going to be teased and bullied for it. I found the only people I would answer to after awhiles would be my teachers, school nurse, some of my good friends, and of course family and my bosses at work. But few else others as I always get the look the first time they hear me.

Oh, the music ? I - tend to hear things in silence when I'm alone so I have this playlist of select music about 3,000 long. I play it all day every day and it keeps the voices at bay.

I think I could post it all as a Streaming Music Channel, maybe I'll do that next week ?

Well I enjoyed it :3 And Bullies? Meh, seen them and still do XD the best way to get them is to laugh at them and to let them know they're irrelevant to your flawless life. Well that's what I did, so I felt good and they didn't get to me as much. Sucks you got bullied though :( No One deserves that.

I guess one good thing was when I was younger, my voice was so high-pitched I won a gold (not silver) award for singing soprano in a choir. At the time I was pretty proud of myself for being able to reach notes other girls, even younger than me in the choir couldn't even touch. And yet today - I'm thankful my voice has lowered in pitch a bit. Still, there isn't one salesperson on the phone who doesn't call me ma'am today.

As for the school bullies, especially Scant and his cronies. The good news is they're all gonna get written up in Barrier. All the mean things they did. I've already put together 3-novels in draft format, a little over 900 pages so far. Will be interesting to see how that turns out.

OK, as for the music, I'll make a new streaming track for the next Saturday Surprise. I think I already have Cryogenic Sleep and Infinite Ambience so far.

Thanks ... You're certainly welcome to use your camera. I have noticed that Writer's Cafe allows unlimited uploaded pictures so you can definitely make a post that shows your collection if you like. I haven't taken a photo of Meredith yet. She's one of my other favorites and wears this pretty sunbonnet.

I'm - not so creative I can think up full names, however for my hamster, Teddy. I did. His full name is Theodore Roosevelt Wicker. Or in short, Teddy (since I like Teddy Bears), Rose (the name of my G/F and new Mom), and Wicker, of course, being my last name. I thought it was pretty clever. :)

Now in my novel Barrier I do give full names to everyone in there, not just the good guys and main actors but the bad guys and girls as well. :)

Nono, Barrier is a fictional writing, although the school scenes are from where I went to Elementary, Middle, and High. The party scene is from early college. And Tyr is the name of the G/F I had back in 3rd grade, so there will definitely be cross-overs. :)

Really ? Wow, thank you ... I've done other poetry too, but - for the life of me - I can't remember all of them. Sometimes a keyword will trigger memories for them. It was to Rico's distinctive words on war that reminded me of this one I wrote in years past.

I - have difficulty writing poetry unless it really does follow a rhyme and rhythm to it. I know some people can just write poetry off the top of their head. It's a great effort for me. Maybe It'll get easier for me over time, I'm not sure. In any case, I'm glad you liked it, Pryde. :)

Really great poem buddy! War is never fun! I think they should pull up their man panties and move on or at least try to accomplish a solution to whatever problem they are having with out resorting to fighting! Any way great stuff

Totally agree. I like what the Venus Project has in mind - I just can't see it happening in my lifetime. There are too many people caught up in greed, money, and power. If we can ever just call each other equals - that might end. That would be nice ...

Very true. I often contimplated such a thing when I was in the military. It is a question I belive that most of us in uniform ask. It was a question I asked the Chaplin when I was in basic training. I will have to think about what he had told me...that was in 1986 so I will have to rack my memory.

You were in the military ? Wow - but you aren't throwing profanity around left and right ? I know Wayne was friends with some military folk in the past and they were just about as potty-mouthed you could get.

Inna way I guess I have to shrug at it all tho. If you raise a cat on a farm, it becomes a barn cat. If you raise a cat in the house it becomes a housecat. I think the same thing is true with people. Wherever they are trained or disciplined, that is what they bring with them.

So you were in active duty with a rifle ?

Yes I was Active militery. I have fired and qulified with the following...M16A1, M16A2, M16A3, the SAW (Squad Auto Matic Rifle) M60, 50 caliber, 9mm Berreta, Claymore Mine, LAW (Light anti tank weapon) 202 flash (Shoulder fired 4 round Missle system, Dragon...I think thats it. I was Trained as a Light Infantry man, radio operator, NBC team leader, Nuclear Weapons Security Specialist, Anti Terrorist Reaction team member, Military Inteligence Analyst, Platoon Sergent...and a few other thing I cant remember lol.
And yes I do have a potty mouth but I know when it it approprate ti use it an when its not.

My ! That's quite a record. I know this might not make a lotta sense (maybe it doesn't to me either). First off, do you remember the Star Trek episode called, "A Taste Of Armageddon" ?

I dont remember the names of episodes but I have watch Star Trek growing up. I always loved the wat Spock and Dr McCoy verberly jabbed each other. Lol. If you tell me a little about the episode I would remember.

Thanks Mark ! Coming from you that means a lot ! I respect your opinion on war and most often than not, people who have seen war or been in them try to find a reason for them.

Maybe I'm just being naive or I don't want to see it - but no - I can't see why fighting and killing is necessary. Life is too precious. Handle with care ...

Can't untie the world or gravity will fail and we'll all fly off ! :)

But yes, I agree, time - it will take considerable time, but eventually - eventually all of us, everywhere - will learn to live in harmony with each other. Black, white, or polka-dotted. I see a lasting peace for all of mankind. It will take faith, trust, and maybe a little pixie dust (couldn't resist !) but we will get there.

My ! Thank you ... I actually wrote this several years ago. I - couldn't remember all the stanzas so I kinna winged it a little in the middle. And yes, perhaps simpler to remember, war does not determine who is right, just who is LEFT. I know I heard that years ago and is indeed words to remember ...
