TabooA Poem by DustyMy first attempt at a highly-metaphorical poem... Hope its not too disastorous....In city hearts of cold-flushed youth, with the breaking bonds of old taboos, angry spirits are wakened from ancient tombs. Rushed desire and whispered lies pave over lover's vows escribed in the worn concrete, now washing away at stony feet. Empty coffins of skeletons long dissolved feel the fresh, stinging wind after being sheltered so long. Demons beckoned by Devil's calls, rush forth from vast fields of icy fire and dense poppy plains of empty desire, attatching themselves to empty names. O, sweet lover of the Great Taboo, who draws unsuspecting victims within you, can not your lips once speak the truth? © 2009 DustyAuthor's Note
