Moonlight

Moonlight

A Poem by Laura Ann Ford

Moonlight lies upon my window sill as I sit gazing at the stars

I feel your breath upon my neck tantalizing my senses

Whisper softly in my ear sweet words of love and lust for me

I close my eyes as your fingers run through my hair

Caress me gently, lovingly

Your smell fills my nose and penetrates my soul

I lick my lips and turn to take in you heated kiss

My eyes reopen and I am alone

Nothing but moonlight upon my skin

You are not here for you have passed

Ascended into the stars at which I gaze

Returning only in my fantasies-

Under the light of the silent moon
