The green curtain and the silver swordA Poem by dushsenKnowing still, That the world is small, That she would meet him again… Once again! Her heart ached! Not knowing, If it was sadness of leaving, Or happiness of hope, She stepped into the car… With perplexity! Lost in thought, No chill Did the AC bring on her! She was still, With trees and side railings moving! Looking out, She merely saw A moving green curtain, So long, she thought That it spread to eternity! The luscious green, Gave her hope! But the silver railing, Felt like a sword, That chases her To incise her, Wherever her life becomes green, Chilled her spine! Remembering him, Who merely used her! And destroyed her! Further away, She went, The silver disappeared! So did the fear of confronting, A world of enemies… Leaving her with Only a green curtain! Surprisingly to her… With no heaviness, But Happiness in her heart!!! © 2010 dushsenAuthor's Note
