The red tiled balcony

The red tiled balcony

A Poem by dushsen

In the red tiled balcony,

Guarded by the red metallic poles,

That witnessed so much pain and laughter,

Has always been a witness of hers…

Tears trickling down her face,

She closed her eyes,

In sheer desperation for calmness!!!

Letting the frosty wind bite into her skin,

Sending down prick of icy pain…

She closed her eyes tighter,

Wishing he would be next to her,

When she opened them… again…

Wishing she could tell him;

“Baby, I need you… this very moment!

Please help me put my blocks right,

I am so messed up…

Baby, please come to me,

Hold me tight and give me strength…”

Hey eyes opened…

Expecting to find him,

Her beloved partner, HER LOVE.

But oh… once again,

She was fooled by her imagination.

Tears were her only companion there.

Gushing out of her eyes,

So warm, it eased her pain!

But merely,

For the moment!

I like this, sadly relatable but even beautiful still. I love the picture and how the title winds its way into the poem. Magnificent.
