Scorched

Scorched

A Poem by Paladin4life
"

I did my best here to write a traditional haiku. This one is a a poem about endurance embodied by life enduring the scorching sun.

"
Summer heat scorches

Draining moisture from the world

Life endures the fire

"Life endures the fire"... OK... I love the way you see summer not only as a season but as a part of life itself. Like the way you related it to what we go through. Brilliant. Simple but impressive.
