SILENT

Tears can fall,

but they can dry.

Sadness comes,

but eventually fades.

You'll bring joy to others,

then quickly take it away.

You'll say "i love you"'

but then theres only hate.

The hurt you caused here,

will never depart.

For the hurt is a scar,

a scar on my heart.

I don't forgive you,

for I don't know how.

Instead i'll just sit here

and be silent for now.

 

Author's Note

this poem was written out of both anger and sadness of a man that i once looked up to but now despise. he caused so much pain that i haven't talked to him in about two years now.
