storied story

A Poem by dukovan

I made a conscious effort to recall
what you wanted to say all along.
I've got a right to be here
just like you
So now what do we do?
It's not like I'm mad at you
no, its not that
I just wanted to be in your book?
So here we go again round and round
there's nothing to see in this town.
But I've got a mind to give you
all the clues,
but what good what that really do?
If you could hold me back long enough
then I swear that I'd be alright.
Are you so sure of it?
It's been more than a month since you called
and I haven't been counting.
