Being right

Being right

A Poem by dukovan

Soft voices in your head
No time for words or spelling bees
It's not a competition if it's free
It's not worth anything
All I know is tonight
I'm gonna shut off all the lights
Hide the shadow and the fight
Drown your voice in time.
You really wish you could agree
What's being right?
Who needs it?
I never needed you now.
Change the past somehow
What is up with you?
Don't ask questions to prove
It's just rude, its just mean,
it's just me.
Nothing changes in the sea
As far as I know, you'll believe me
As far as I know, you're still there.
I called three times to your moms house.
Every mistake I could repair.
But I want it all
e
If you could fix your life,
could you tell me what that'd look like?
