brains like a bad game of tetris

brains like a bad game of tetris

A Poem by dukovan

You're cast right out of stone today
and now you can wait to turn cold

Your shadow inches beyond doubt
that I'll forget to shut off some light

I keep watch for dreams
and pinch myself every hour
and count myself lucky for you

What hardness is to skin
is akin to how you let me
inside those swimmy veins
where i'm vainy to any length

Imagine stretching out across the sun
and holding all of it in
imploding forever backwards
in an origin of sin

Every girl in the sea could pretend to be
another length of me
as far as I know is as sure as I'll get to sleep
