All flows

All flows

A Poem by dukovan

So now, as we struggle with the river of impermanence , we, like the salmon must still find the strength to go up stream. But for us, poetic primates, we need to find more than the strength, we need a reason to even bother trying.
I will not last.
This is the hardest lesson life teaches us, in every form possible. Nothing lasts, or as I like to hear it, all flows. How do we solidify this? How do we achieve a para-dime with this ? I don't believe nihilism can do it. Or at least it isn't for me. We need to find a way to synergy this in a way that gives our lives meaning. To still laugh and cry, and to move forward with more than just hope,  but optimism that reflects back from wherever you place it. A knowing that all is sacred in its place, wherever that may be.
All flows.
Then this was never about "me" to begin with.
