Strangely enough I need a new reason to cope whatever used to make sense falls asleep before I do now and when my toes tingle and my legs go numb from the cold shock of the ocean I'll trust that you too taste the salt in my lungs as I'm bringing you back to life for the third time this week Jesus was a friend of mine in stone and time and sand travel through glass and our hearts are forged inside her rib cage make no mistake God had a witness and it was me
