here we are

here we are

A Poem by dukovan

forcibly stolen
i am pushing back the urge
to blame anyone but myself

and my tooth hurts

one by one i feel my heart pump pain into this living bone

after we're gone we can compare teeth
and i promise i wont be smiling
because you don't know the curses i buried in them

i wont repeat myself the farther i fall away from sanity

but i will be sure to hit record

on the long drive home.
