teenagers suck

teenagers suck

A Poem by dukovan

The fire matched your eyes
When you planned your own surprise
Gotta say the way you complained
Probably keeps it that way

It's not like you're stubborn
Or stupid all the same.

Doesn't matter how it happened
If you didn't feel things that way

The way it happens is kinda brilliant
I feel so stupid
Stop repeating everything I say.

I had entered
Through the doorway
Barely standing
Never knew you felt that way
In the ashes understanding
Picture frames and decay

Would it change you if I was dying
Never knew you'd eventually feel that way

I'm just stupid
And tired of listening
Barely bought a way, away

I have wings now
I have songs now
From when I knew you
And how we got away
Never sold my soul
Always told you what I shouldn't say.

Really loved this. Especially enjoyed the way you broke up each stanza.
