felt a thought

felt a thought

A Poem by dukovan

I had a thought to doubt you
Basic in endeavor these days
They get better if you let them
See how we distort the eyes
And I am the one I hoped you could believe.

Barely made it past the car
By the time you were tallying scars on my back
I wondered for who you felt bad
But I tend to be tender towards you

So be part of the engraving
Where I can find your voice in pitch and wood
Where we'll tally hearts on trees
Which are the arrows pointing the way
So we need not look further than the sky
So between you and I
I'm veiney with you
In my hearteries
But veiny isn't a real word
And that can be our secret
