trying to light a match.

trying to light a match.

A Story by dukovan

She liked her evenings inside,
When we huddled like hero's
And stole the stories he'd hide.

We set fires at night on our parts.
Your eyes and my voice,
And you both look the same at night.

Likewise, I count backwards
And I never know when to stop.

We made a movie with flashlights
I matched your wits and you rolled your eyes.

Now I'm looking for something worth finding.
I'm finding it was worth a try.
