Light matter.

Light matter.

A Poem by dukovan

The windowpane is pulling in
a new hope inside lightspeed
and the distance never mattered to me.

I recalled you saying you could feel everything
so I turned down the air and radio and listened to you breathe.

When the bend pulls around and I drop into the dark
its heavier now at the bottom
and I wish you all well

When we reconcile the shapes we drew in primary school,
learning to get comfortable in our seats,
will you believe me?

I picked a color took a picture through that window six times a year.
I put away the positives and let them all align.
Foreign flying faster, only once I saw them fly by.

Godspeed come save me if you have the time.
I do wait for you.
