A Poem by dukovan

Oh my, a quiet conundrum
out on the lawn.
I swear I saw it was flashing.
'Didn't last very long.

Their son and daughter
quiet evening, back lawn,
Couldn't decide where they're going
'blades were cut while they're young.

I hardly mentioned
we hardly talked.
Didn't need to say all that much.

This box in the basement
you buried under the yard.
Secrets speak silence
never takes long.

I wondered if you were coming along.
Not that I ever mentioned
not that you didn't wait all that long.

Forget that I mentioned
I didn't need to say as much
I might've made up the map myself.
