Standing still.

Standing still.

A Poem by dukovan

Once in a while I get tired of the sound and how

you broke those records right off the shelves

spinning in circles we still keep to ourselves.

What is the problem if I can't understand

and you can't say what you'd take

that I never had

the reason to doubt you and all of your stories

was I your liar or the same stupid story?

Quiet the sound while I get the answers

their all in the pauses like your home movies.

There's blank indecision like the windows in winter

If nothings still changing and I'm standing still

the the light in the darkness has you laugh like a shrill

still how could you blame her? She just wants a thrill

well you're still standing still

How could I blame you when I'm standing still?

There's really no answer

 just ego to kill.
