Did anything change?

Did anything change?

A Poem by dukovan

Perfectly, at the end of the street

I saw a living thing under the spotlight breathing.

It was cold enough to see its breath,

back and forth expansion pends,

on projection towards predictions.

Nothing ever changes in the midst of rearranging misfires,

or a disaster not conspired.

I meant for you to miss your cue

and now I can't remember what you'd do

when you finally see the flares on the horizon.

We went down beneath the bridge

where you traced your hand with chalk,

the feelings lost of cold concrete

its summer now and I am hardly breathing

or so it would seem.

If nothings wrong then it would seem

its perfectly fine to be fine with everything.

Relentless change in temperature

not that I noticed by the time it actually got here.
