I don't mind

I don't mind

A Poem by dukovan

Found a fold in the sheet

one resounding conclusion.

Left your scarf on your neck

fold up fears till you're speechless

Theres no shadows  in this room,

until you arrived.

A white collar for father

a black tie to unravel them all.

A wood box I sit beside of

like a fire I started once

I never checked on it after

felt like it'd be too much

or not enough to see.

Found a lid to the French press

where I type to impress

a way that I don't speak

normally.

I lay in bed and I fidget

dream about being tucked away.

I decided to make coffee early

and retrace my mind either way

in time

any way I don't mind.

Now I'm waiting on words

to fill in the white of my eyes

If only i'd actually heard you

If only you didn't believe me.
