shutting off

shutting off

A Poem by dukovan

I'm shutting off now.

Every bit of brilliance I had left

is all at the same time leaving.

There's a strange hum of light at the bridge of nose;

I smell tangerine and teal,

ocean and salty sun.

The rine on my fingers stays for the day.

And today the edges are much sharper.
