Nobody

Nobody

A Poem by dukovan

Nobody taught me to breathe.

The bark just grows on the trees

Nobody said you'd believe me.

Nobody said a thing.

Nobody calls me from home

The skin grows all on its own.

Amphetamine leaves

and I remember to breathe.

You're the reason we never talk.

Theres nothing to say I can't mock.

The words fell right out of your mouth.

Now theres no reason to hardly talk.

You're waving back to the trees

I heard you were counting by threes.

There's so much I'll never believe

when I left did I leave anything?
