In midst of it all.A Poem by dukovanhear it rather than read it, create you're own punctuation.I got that angle off the wall still frame still staring at us all Now I'm unwrapping your feet underneath the tree pine needles shoe laces and your presence entwining me. By the way we must have a mistake in the wake of it all That wouldn't be so bad, isn't it And aren't I though In the midst of all of it things get real at home I'm turning the tables on you inside of a certainty fogging the mirror I'm not sure who's to blame We both drink from the sink and spit down the drain and go the same way we came By the way We must have made a mistake. In the midst of it all, everything gets real. Between the eyes between you and me between our hiding place the good we can't mistake. We must have made a mistake in the midst of it all. © 2014 dukovan |
