I haven't seen your eyes.A Poem by dukovanSong
Commandeer my breathing-
you barely breathe on your own. It's all wrong. And I don't know if anyone is the same as you were- Always, unsure. I haven't seen you're eyes in a long time. I haven't seen in a long time. It seems pointless to see when everyone you believed in is gone "There's nothing wrong" Now we watch the ceiling collapsing to breathe with our lungs. "Is nothing so wrong?" It's so revealing your eyes match the ceiling and the roof is torn off. I thought I'd forgot I haven't seen your eyes in a long time. Resurrecting this feeling concealing the means to and from. I don't know who's deceiving- concealing the seeds in a song, or your front lawn I haven't seen your eyes in a long time. So I made it to the porch by the middle of the day you were sitting in the exact same place. So now I'm forgetting all about forgotten ghosts- and there is no ghost- in a long time. © 2014 dukovan |
