Two Brothers

Two Brothers

A Poem by dukovan

A mother on a full moon, confines two son's;
the first one blind,
the second deaf and dumb.

She said theres a city you see,
through the others decision,
one will hear and escape with the scripture,
the other will stay and save this place,
or fall with the pillars
"We'll kill her."

Now I can't fix the difference.
Now all I know is there is no difference,
now all I know is I can't fix it.

The sun came how it always did
invisibly different,
besides the long stretch of time
you observed your dads interests.
He calmly confides in the wolves on monthly visits.

Now all I know is the difference,
settles scores to know there isn't,
one day of sun,
and all I know is I can't fix it

The one brother looked up and down,
divided the distance, in his twins deaf eyes
he assessed himself,
into lonely division.
He coaxed his favor and ruled this tree,
tearing limbs with indifference,

All I know is there's no way to fix him.
